Were offering memorable coffees, sourced directly from farmers in the Americas and Africa. Our view is that the world needs coffees roasted here in our neighborhood. And we want to provide that in a way everyone can be proud of. Our long term goal is that all of our coffees make a positive impact- both in our community, and where the coffees are grown. Its all part of our mission to "Love Locally, Love Globally." Locally: Starting inside our own company, were including adults with special needs in our packaging operations. We think thats a way to be a compassionate part of our community. Were not the first to do this, but our goal is to prove whats possible by structuring compassion into the metrics for the company. Globally: Its possible to pay farmers directly for quality coffees, and at rates above fair trade prices. Thats how to end poverty - and ending poverty changes the world!
