About The Author:- Dr. (Mrs.) Annpurna Nautiyal Is A Professor And Head Of The Department Of Political Science, Hnb Garhwal University Srinagar, Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Presently She Is Also The Dean Of The Faculty Of Arts And Coordinator Of The Ugc-Sap Drs Programme Sponsored By The University Grants Commission, New Delhi. She Is Also The Chairperson Of The University Women Cell. She Has Participated In Many Social Welfare Study Activities. Her Area Of Interest Is Gandhian Thought And Women Empowerment But She Is A Keen Watcher Of Regional Issues Also.
