Choose a location:

Choose an outdoor location which receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Placing the solar path light in a shaded location will not allow the batteries to charge fully and will reduce the hours of night time illumination.
The selected location should not be near night time light sources such as street or porch lighting as these may cause the solar path light to turn off automatically. The solar lights should not be placed closer than 5 feet from one another. This could cause the solar lights to flicker from the adjacent light source.
