The Philips 30505 Essential Batten Portable Lights is also an LED emergency lamp with 36 LED bulbs. The LED bulbs also help in heightening the illumination derived by low power light sources. The LED lamp requires only 5 hours for a full charge.
The Philips 30505 Essential Batten Portable Lights is a portable light that you can carry with you to dark and gloomy places that need lighting. The Batten Light comes with two modes of illumination, one is a low brightness mode that can be engaged when the requirement for light is less, and the other mode, is the Full Brightness mode that can be engaged with the surroundings are pitch black and lighting is of prime importance. The presence of a Charging indicator helps in assessing the level of charge that the light has undergone during the time that you keep it plugged in.
When the Light is used to full capacity, or Full Bright mode has been engaged, then the Philips 30505 Essential Batten Portable Lights needs a charging time of roughly 6 hours, however, the Reduced light mode requires a charging time of roughly 3 hours. The normal everyday use of the Light requires a charging time of a standard 5 hours. The Philips 30505 Essential Batten Portable Lights can be wall mounted. It has an overcharge and over discharge protection feature that lengthens the life of the battery. The battery itself has an output of 3.7 V and a capacity of 2200 mAh. It requires a power output of AC 90 – 380 V, with a frequency of 50/60 Hz. 
It operates with a temperature range of 0 degrees, to 45 degrees Celsius.  The High Efficiency Lithium Ion Battery can be recharged multiple times without having a detrimental effect on its health. It has Dual Power with Auto-Switch Over Features. The 5 Hour Charge gives a 3 to 6 hour backup. The light has been manufactured using Synthetic materials. It has a power consumption of only 0.07.
