• Portronics now has come up with the new iLume projector, one of the smallest and brightest multimedia pocket projector launched in India. This powerful LED illuminated projector comes with built-in speakers and does not requires additional sound magnification device for home entertainment use. It is based on DLP technology by Texas Instruments and weighs just around 650g. It comes with an unmatched brightness of 400 ANSI lumens. It can project an image of more than 120 inches on the wall with a projection distance ranging from 0.5m to 5m. It has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and can support 1080p/720p formats. iLume provides a connectivity port to connect to most devices; like the VGA/HDMI port to connect to laptops and desktops, AV port to connect to set-top boxes to view television, HDMI connector to connect tablets and smart phones, USB connectivity to connect, etc. Additionally, it also gives the option of a micro SD card slot that can help you view pictures directly from you SD card or directly connect it to camcorders and cameras through the AV cable. The life of iLume LED Engine is claimed to be more than 20,000 hours. On the audio front it has one 3 W speaker and a headphone-out.
