He has written the biographies of Henry Kissinger, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs and Benjamin Franklin. Some of these books are Einstein: His Life and Universe and Benjamin Franklin: An American Life. Isaacson has a bachelor’s degree in literature and history from Harvard. He then became a Rhodes Scholar and read philosophy, economics and politics at Oxford. He began his journalistic career at The Sunday Times after which he joined Time magazine as a political correspondent. He is the CEO and President of the Aspen Institute. He has served as CEO and Chairman of CNN and also been the Managing Editor of Time magazine. In 2011, he was selected for Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world.
