Kerala, named as one of the top ten paradises of the world by National Geographic Traveller and promoted as ‘God’s own country’ is hit with nature’s fury, in the worst natural disaster in 100 years. With the death toll rising to 357, due to incessant rains and landslides, more than 3.14 lakh people have moved to relief camps. At this hour, it’s time to come together once again and stand by Kerala and our people there.
What is worth applauding, is the spirit of the affected people in Kerala, in the wake of such massive devastation. The courage and compassion demonstrated by them, to help one another, for shelter, food, safety, and stand strongly to survive. Witnessing such strength by our fellow Indians, inspires us to extend a helping hand and contribute our share to the masses.
