Continues its focus on enhancing merchant engagement
New Delhi, October 26, 2015: ShopClues, India’s first and largest managed marketplace announces the launch of the Next Big e-Preneur challenge in a bid to consistently augment engagement with its large and growing merchant base. Through this initiative, the brand aims at providing a comprehensive platform that helps budding and established entrepreneurs to develop and launch their businesses, and provide a network for brainstorming, feedback, and future business opportunities.

It is a business plan challenge which provides an opportunity to merchants to be mentored by seasoned professionals and industry experts, have access to networking opportunities with potential partners and investors and have the chance to turn their idea into reality.”
Next Big e-Preneur went live on 19th October 2015 and will be open to all merchants and their families with a corpus fund (pool size) of Rs. 1 crore for the business ideas which get selected for the final round. The contest will be conducted over 3 rounds which include the business idea pitch, a comprehensive business plan presentation and an in-person pitch to the jury.
All registered merchants and their family members are welcome to participate in the Next Big e-Preneur challenge. The minimum number of participants is 1 and the maximum is 4. Individual participation is allowed as well, although it is preferable to participate in teams of 2 to 3 members.
Participants whose venture has already acquired funding from an external investor/ network are not eligible to apply as the idea is to promote first-time entrepreneurs who require a platform to showcase their ideas and scale their business.
