Mumbai, April 25, 2015: ShopClues.com, India’s first and largest managed marketplace organised a Sellers’ Summit for the benefit of all the merchants who retail their products through its platform. This was the first Sellers’ Summit held in Mumbai. The event witnessed the presence of Ronnie Screwvala, an Indian entrepreneur and social philanthropist. While e-commerce companies regularly conduct offers and events for their consumers, ShopClues.com put together this Summit to felicitate its 1.3 lakh merchants across India. The Sellers’ Summit was held on 24th April 2015 at Gold Sarovar Premier, Goregaon (West).
Close to 250 top retailers across categories of ShopClues.com attended the event in Mumbai from all over Maharashtra and Gujarat. The list of participants included prominent names such as Sukkhi, Gitanjali and HUL etc.

The highlight of the Sellers’ Summit was the Merchant Awards, where retailers were felicitated for their outstanding work in various spheres, by guest of honour, Ronnie Screwvala. It also included a Q&A session with the core team of ShopClues.com where merchants could clarify any queries they had. Kiosks from different departments were set up to facilitate detailed interaction. It was an eventful evening that started at 7 pm and lasted for four hours.
