This oil is obtained from the wheat germ by water pressure or extraction by solvent.

The germs contain 7 to 15 % of oil. Fatty oil obtained from the germ of the grain of Triticum aestivum L. by hexan extraction followed by refining. It is a refined vegetable oil that contains high level of natural Vitamin E which is a natural antioxidant.
