KNEX Education Building Simple Machines Set

The KNEX Education Building Simple Machines Class set is designed to introduce students in grades 3-5 to the scientific concepts associated with simple machines - Levers, Pulleys, Wheel & Axles, Inclined Planes, including Wedge and Screw and Gears. Students are provided with the opportunity to acquire skills using a hands-on, cooperative, inquiry based approach to information and concepts. This KNEX Education Set includes 2,176 KNEX parts, building instructions, and a comprehensive Teachers Guide, all packaged in a strong plastic tray with a snap-on lid for easy classroom storage. Theres enough parts to build 15 fully-functioning simple machines models, up to 8 at a time, and it supports 16-24 students working in teams. The Teachers Guide provides the information and resources needed to build students understanding of scientific concepts and channel their inquiries into active and meaningful learning experiences.
