Seeds-Pineapple Guava Rare

The guava is a tropical to sub-tropical tree. Its leaves are used in many medical in India and neighbouring countries. Often used in curries, the leaves are generally called by the name "guava", though they are also translated as "PINEAPPLE  Guava".

It is a small tree, growing 9–11 m. tall, with a trunk up to 40 cm diameter. The leaves are pinnate, with 20-50leaflets, each leaflet 9–15cm long and 1–2 cm broad. They are highly aromatic. The flowers are small, white, and fragrant. 

Growing information:

• Plant in a nice big pot with rich compost and some grit
• Water sparingly in winter

• Keep the leaves clean and spray with foliar feed House plant Myst available from our webshop
• Your plant will come in a 13cm polybag and will be about 30+cm tall 

PINEAPPLE Guava plants are fast growing deciduous shrub which grows well in temperature around 65°C or slightly above and also need a well drained soil.

Curry leaves need sunlight. Prefer any area where you can provide direct sunlight to the plant. At the same time, it is important to protect it from very high temperatures during hot summer months.

It is very important to trim your curry leaf plant in order to get a fast and thick growth. Trimming will provide an ample supply of fresh and young leaves.

PINEAPPLE  Guava plant prefers a well-drained soil to flourish well. So, it is important to allow the soil to dry a bit in between each watering session. Watering the curry leaf plant is important during summer when the soil will get dried up easily.

Bio-fertilizers are always preferred for the curry leaf plant. Regular application of fertilizers is more important for plants that are cultivated in pots. Remember not to give a high dose of fertilizers to young plants.
