Purple long sleeve chikankari embroidered kurta

About The Product: Neckline , Front: Chinese collar of 1" height with wide placket. Plus 1.5" wide knife pleated. The total detailed design width across placket is 3.75".

Neckline, Back: Chinese collar.

Main Body, front: Detailed Chikankari embroidered. A-line shaped with side slits. The stitched 26" long placket comes down and opens up into two parts. It opens at a distance of 7" from the bottom edge of the kurta.

Main Body, back: A 4" yoke with fullness. It has chikankari embroidery on it.

Sleeves: Plain sleeves style. Long sleeve. 4" side slits.

The shape of the kurta is A-line 

Embroidery: Chikankari hand embroidered in multiple thread colours.

Embroidery Details: FRONT: From neckline to 15" down- Dense embroidery with geometric design of floral motifs. Detailed knot stitch leaves. Horizontal design of Brick Repeat Pattern.

Next 12.5" down- Two types of floral embroidery- Bigger floral motifs with leaf shaped petals. Smaller floral motifs with knot shaped petals.

Smaller floral motifs on either side of the bigger floral motifs.

BACK- 4" bigger floral motifs with leaf shaped petals. All over smaller floral motifs in Brick Repeat Pattern.

SLEEVES- The smaller floral knot petal motifs in a Brick Repeat Pattern. Sleeve edge has 1" border with floral embroidery continued till the side slits.

Stitches used: Shadow work, very close and detailed herringbone stitch,knot stitch, zig-zag stitch, running stitch
