Marigold is the most popular annual flowers on earth. These are the big ones bright ball-shaped flowers in yellow and orange or sturdy plants only 12 to 18 inch tall. The flowers are chrysanthemum-like with a mass of bright colored petals. And best of all, they keep blooming all summer long. Add these to your meadow, and the color will never stop.

 

Planting information :

Marigold plants like rich, well drained soil,so add plenty of compost and general purpose fertilizer. Marigold also need a sunny location.

Place the seeds on the top of the soil, pat the top of the soil with the seed in it lightly so the seeds get covered with soil slightly.

Water the seeds carefully so the seeds don't wash away. Keep the seeds watered so the soil never dries out.

The seeds germinate easily but It is important to keep the plants in the sun after they have sprouted.

Apply nitrogen fertilizer in growing season and use phosphate in blooming time. 
Watering the marigold daily but not overwatering. Blooms should appear within a few weeks of sowing.
