These plants have some parts that are more than normally thickened and fleshy, usually to retain water in arid climates or soil conditions. In Feng Shui, Jade is believed to attract money and prosperity in home and office. It is better to keep this plant in front of the office or in the office cubicle, favorably in southeast so as to attract more business or more income. Place it in east diection at home, for family harmony, health, initiation of projects and scholarly pursuits or southeast for wealth. Do not place it in bedroom or bathroom. Most of these plants prefer full sun, but will tolerate light shade and the dappled light underneath taller plants. All succulents require well-draining soil and do well in rock gardens or pots with lots of sand and grit. Make sure that you don't overwater it either.
