This kit has some surprisingly high-quality parts: a large LCD, a crystal to improve its accuracy, and a chip socket to allow the chip to be replaced. lcd is bright even on daylight. soldering is easy if you are a bit experienced and use a soldering wax no problem will occur.  You dont need instruction for placing compononent because component names are printed next to the holes they are supposed to be placed. then you just apply 5 volts and simply works.
