It is humbly presented on the happy occasion of completion of 50 years of his marriage with Vidya, a gracious lady. This book observes, discusses, and presents prognosis to the myriad issues infesting our country and the society at large.
The author, Ambassador Ramesh Chander, is a retired diplomat. As post retirement activities, he indulges in academic and social pursuits with a sense of paying back to the society in whatever small way possible.

I was fully impressed by her demeanor and poise. In the process of my duties, there were several occasions to see her in office and Committee/Conference Rooms and also in the majestic corridors and stairs of her office.”
