He has been a teacher of medicine. He was Professor and
Head of department medicine in Governrment. Medical
college Srinagar Kashmir. He is a renowned physician of
Kashmir Valley.
After retirement from the medical school started his
journey as a poet in 2014, when his Urdu poetry book
Nishate Nazar was published. His poetry is a beautiful
blend of contemporary poetry and beautiful painting of
the present times . The poetry is multidimensional and
attracts the reader to emotional truths, simplicity and
intellectual revaluations. His poetry is a poetry from
heart.
He is a poet of modern times. His poetry is
