Comprising rhymed poetry, free verse, and a collection of quatrains, this book does not wish to shower pioneering wisdom, or blaze a trail with a revolutionary brand of poetry. Instead, its objective is simple- to provide some precious moments of respite from the relentless onslaught of time. The themes of the poems, whether in isolation or coalesced, are derived from the poet’s observations and philosophy of life. For Priyam, the world is a composite of contraries, and Scintillae involves contemplating such paradoxes, chiefly through the prism of love and its concomitant feelings. As you unravel the poems, you too may succumb to the temptations of time. But as you read and see the much cherished stories extinguish, you’ll witness the most beautiful moments remain, whose sparks, though trapped, will be glowing.

Besides writing poetry and running his blog, "The Ventriloquist", Priyam is a passionate debater and public speaker, a sports fanatic, and a foodie.
