    The Blueair 650E air purifying system is AHAM certified with a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of >450 for smoke and pollen and >400 for dust, giving it the distinction of having the highest rated CADR of any unit on the market.  Perfect for rooms up to 698 square feet, this Blueair unit packs a complete, high-performance air purifier into a beautiful design that’s incredibly quiet. The Blueair 650E air purifying system gets rid of pesky airborne allergens including, but not limited to, pollen, dust, smoke, pet dander, bacteria and mold spores. All that remains is impeccably clean air.

  • How it works

    Air is drawn into the unit via an ultra-quiet fan. Airborne particles pass through an ion chamber and are charged to ensure that they adhere effortlessly to Blueair's progressive three-stage filter. The combined filtration technologies allow the Blueair air purifying systems to achieve 99.97% filtration efficiency down to .1 microns while changing the air in your room up to 5 times to 20 times per hour (depending on room size). Cleaned air that is free of impurities is recalculated into the room.


  • Patented HEPASilent technology

    All Blueair air purifiers feature exclusive patented HEPASilent™ filtration technology for outstanding filtration efficiency, as well as extremely quiet and energy efficient operation. The typical air cleaner traps particles using only one type of technology. The secret of Blueair's technology is the use of both mechanical and electrostatic filtering. This involves special filter material and an ozone-free electrostatic ionizer that charges particles so they are electrostatically attracted to the filter fibers.  No other air purifier brand has this exclusive technology.

  • Progressive filter structure

    Blueair uses a progressive filter structure. Most filters from other manufacturers use a thinner filter that consists of the same size of fiber throughout. Blueair filters have millions of ultra-fine fibers in different sizes that decrease in size deeper in the media. Thus, the name progressive. Because of this, Blueair filters resist loading or clogging and continue filtration at peak performance levels longer allowing maximum airflow while keeping high efficiency.

  • Particle and gas sensors

    The Electronic gas sensor detects cooking odors and gaseous contaminants, including smoke, exhaust fumes and more. Additionally, the electronic particle sensor determines whether the amount of airborne particles is above or below the acceptable limit.

    This Blueair 650E system automatically adjusts its operating speed according to the amount of airborne particles and gaseous compaounds detected. The built in timer lets you set the length of operation, if desired, lowering energy consumption. Also featured is a filter replacement indicator so that performance is never compromised and a remote control for operating from afar.

    Due to the unique HEPASilent™ filtration technology, the Blueair 650E air purifying system is one of the quietest mechanical air purifiers on the market.
