Walnut GSM/GPRS Modem USB

The GSM/GPRS Modem USB uses SIM900A based Quad band 850/900/1800/1900MHz GSM / GPRS modem. It can be connected to USB directly or to a microcontroller UART using TTL levels. The modem consists of all the external circuit required to start experimenting with the SIM900A module like the power regulation, external antenna, SIM Holder, etc.

Modem is built with Quad Band GSM/GPRS based SIM900A module from SIMCOM. It works on frequencies 850/900/1800/1900MHz. SIM900A can search these bands automatically. The frequency bands can also be set by AT Commands. The baud rate is configurable from 1200- 115200 through AT command. The GSM/GPRS Modem is having internal TCP/IP stack to enable you to connect with internet via GPRS. 

**  Can be use for Bulk SMS  applications with compitable softwares used.
