Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) - The Kalmegh plants are some of the most sought after, interesting and unique herbal plant used in homes. It shows an upright growth habit. It is perfect as a container plant because it does not generally grow wider than its container. Kalmegh herb survive in low light conditions. Kalmegh grows well in pots for indoors as well as direct planting in the soil in gardens. It is used in mixed hedges and shrub borders. It is a garden shrub but due to its various environmental & health benefits, it is categorized as herb. It grows artistically with round shaped development with ovate leaves & green flowers. It usually grows up to 1 meters tall with occasional specimens to 1.5 meters.  We tried for a long time and finally developed the plants of Kalmegh which are organically grown without using any chemical fertiliser & pesticide. Kalmegh is very effective herb for the remedy of problems of liver & pancreas. It is potent anti-oxydent. It is still given to children as well as adults for skin problems, liver ailments, stomach worms, eczema etc. It is an important plant in ayurvedic preparations. It is highly bitter in taste.
