How does it work ?

The Mechanism of action of the individual ingredients of Skinlite cream are listed below:

Hydroquinone is a skin-bleaching agent, it works by inhibiting an enzyme reaction. It is widely used in skin whitening products to reduce the color of skin. Over-the-counter hydroquinone products can contain 0.5% to 2% concentrations, with 2% being the most effective OTC amount

Tretinoin belongs to a class of drugs called retinoic acid and it is a form of Vitamin A that helps skin renew itself, it is commonly used topically to treat acne vulgaris.

Mometasone furoate is a glucocorticosteroid used topically to reduce inflammation of the skin or in the airways, Mometasone and other corticosteroids circulate easily in the blood, crossing cellular membranes and binding with cytoplasmic receptors, resulting in the transcription and synthesis of protein.

It also liberates hydrolace acids of leukocytes and thus resulting in decreased inflammation.

It interferes with adhesion of lekocytes to capillary walls,the reduction of the permeability of the capillary membranes and consequently edema.
