What is ShopClues Wholesale?
ShopClues WholeSale is a wholesale Marketplace for small and medium merchants, individuals or enterprises who need products in wholesale or bulk quantity. ShopClues brings the most competitive wholesale prices from its strong merchant base. ShopClues Wholesale offers two formats for whole –
1) Minimum Order Quantity and
2) Fixed Lot.
With Minimum Order Quantity format — merchant can decide minimum order quantity and list the item accordingly. Buyer can buy that minimum order qty. or any qty. higher than the minimum order quantity by changing the quantity in the quantity field on product page. But buyer can never go below the minimum order qty set by the merchant. The default minimum order quantity is set at 10 currently and we currently do not allow merchants to go below 10.
With Fixed Lot format — it is the entire lot or none. In other words, merchant can list a fixed lot size. Now buyer can buy the entire lot for one fixed price listed or none. Buyer cannot change the quantity in quantity field on product page. However, merchant can list more than one Fixed Lot.

How does it work?
ShopClues collaborates with some of best merchants across categories and offers wholesale quantity at wholesale prices. Our expert teams ensure the quality and prices for each and every product in wholesale section. Most products in wholesale section have minimum order quantity of 10 or even higher in case of Lot-wise wholesale products.

Why membership is required for ShopClues WholeSale?
Limiting this section to only registered Clues Club members gives us — A) an opportunity to communicate the likely Wholesale demand to our merchants so that the best/unmatchable pricing can be offered and B) understand the need of wholesale customers in much better way.

What is Clues Club?
Clues Club Membership can be subscribed for one year by paying an annual membership fee of Rs. 999. But it is Rs. zero for first year for anyone who signs-up for this membership until 31st Dec 2015 as part of introductory offer.

Is the membership free?
Clues Club Membership can be subscribed for one year by paying a minimal subscription fee of Rs. 999. But it is Rs. zero until 31st Dec 2015 as part of introductory offer.

What if I do not find benefit from the membership?
Customer Satisfaction is on the Top of the ShopClues Core Values. If you don’t find any benefit from the membership you can discontinue the membership any time and we will refund your membership fee on pro-rata basis. ShopClues offer 100% refund within 30 days if you don’t get any benefit from Clues Club Membership. This being said, if you sign for Clues Club membership from now until 31st Dec 2015, as it is you would not be paying for first year of membership.

How do you source Wholesale products?
Once an order is placed we procure the product on your behalf and and shipment is assigned to one of our logistic partner.

Who sells the Wholesale products?
ShopClues have largest and most vibrant merchant community in India. We work closely with some of the Top merchants in each segment and brings the most competitive prices for WholeSale.

How do I know these are Wholesale prices?
The prices you will see in the WholeSale Section are most competitive prices in the market. You can compare the prices with products available in ShopClues regular categories. In future we will empower you to check the regular prices on the same screen.

Can I get email alerts for the products I like?
We are working on various features to enhance buyer experience. In future, you will be able to subscribe for a product for price alerts and other updates.

What are the restrictions on Wholesale products?
You need to buy minimum 10 quantity per product to make a purchase. In some cases, min quantity can be higher. Besides of this, you cannot ship the wholesale products on multiple address in a single order.

How does shipping happen?
For the WholeSale orders, we arrange shipment via Surface in most of the cases. It may take longer than regular shipment which are processed via air.

How are the items packed?
Items are packed as a lot for the WholeSale shipment. You will receive the quantity ordered by you as a single shipment. However, each individual product will be packed in retail packing, unless it is clearly stated in product description that the product packing is wholesale or B2B or custom and not retail.

Who pays for shipping?
Shipping charges are decided by the Merchants. If a merchant decide to provide Free Shipping then you don’t need to pay anything for the shipping. But if merchant wants to charge shipping fee then customer need to pay the shipping charge. We ensure very nominal and lowest shipping charges in the industry.

How much time shipping takes?
As most of the shipment for WholeSale order take place via Surface, it may take 7-10 days on delivery. Delivery time may vary depending on the delivery location.

Are the products in stock with ShopClues?
ShopClues does not stock the products in advance. We ensure the availability of the products with the merchants and as soon as you place and order we coordinate with merchant to ensure product availability and dispatch as soon as possible.

Can I cancel the Wholesale orders after it is placed?
ShopClues allows you to cancel an order if it is not shipped. Once an order is shipped from our or merchant’s end, you will not be allowed to cancel the order.

What are your return policies for Wholesale?

How can I make payment for the Wholesale Products?
You can make payment via Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card for wholesale products. ShopClues provides online payments from all of the major banks and credit cards. Further, you can also use your ShopClues Gift Certificate for transactions. Cash on Delivery is not available for the WholeSale Products.

What if the products are not as described?
For all such cases you are protected under ShopClues Buyer Protection. If products are not as described then you can ask for a refund or return and we will ensure a 100% refund on such cases.

Do I get Clues Bucks with my Wholesale transactions?
Sorry but due to very low margin in Wholesale transaction, buyers will not earn any Clues Bucks. However, during our introductory period, we might give Clues Bucks for some time. Also, it is possible that in future we might give Clues Bucks to those Clues Club members who renew their membership after first year.

Sometime, I am noticing lower price for an items in ShopClues for a retail item vs. wholesale?
We ensure that the prices in ShopClues Wholesale Marketplace are absolutely the lowest – not only at ShopClues Marketplace but anywhere else online. However, sometime you might notice lower price for an item at ShopClues Marketplace, that is only for those items that are sold under a deal e.g. Sunday Flea Market or Jaw Dropping Deal, to acquire new customers and have restriction attached e.g. you can buy only one quantity, you pay for shipping and it is only prepaid transactions.

How do I sell products in ShopClues Wholesale Marketplace?
Right now, the Wholesale Marketplace is not open to all the merchants. However, if you are interested, you can email us your interest at wholesale@shopclues.com and we will get back to you.

I am not a registered merchant at ShopClues yet and only wants to sell in Wholesale Marketplace, can I do that?
Yes, you can sign-up as a merchant at www.shopclues.com/sell and send us an email at wholesale@shopclues.com with your MID (Merchant ID) and we will help you set-up your online branded store and listing of the products in ShopClues Wholesale Marketplace.
